Though EdersonNathan Ake. Jeremy Doku and Oscar Bobb are not quite ready to return this afternoon, they have all returned to training, which is a huge boost for blues.

Pep Guardiola Have decided not to risk the above quartet while he rests Haaland, Kovacic and Gardiol completely.

With a huge game against Real Madrid on Tuesday, the city’s boss hopes the team he has chosen for today’s FA Cup clash in eastern London will be able to negate their way into the last 16.

And if he can choose a largely rested from XI against Madrid, Pep will be a happy man who gets real, to attend Madrid Derby tonight against Atletico – hardly a game Carlo Ancelotti can afford to rest the star’s names.
