Mateo Retegui scored four times when Atalanta smashed Low Hellas Verona 5-0 in Serie A on Saturday, with Italy striker ending a hat trick before the break.

Retegui put Atalanta ahead with a quick-brand-double in the 21st and 25th minutes before Ederson came to 3-0 after a smooth solo race.

Retegui finished his hat trick just before the break on a rebound and the net again in the 56th minute, converting a nice pass from Marten de Roon.

Atalanta remained in third place in the position with 50 points, four points from leaders Naples and one behind the other placed Inter Milan, with both sides playing their matches on Sunday. Verona is 14. At 23 points.
