More crashes reported on Saturday morning as the snowfall continues to fall into Twin Cities

Slick roads and uncertain driving conditions affect roads all over the state on Saturday when the weekend commuters try to navigate the snowfall.

Friday night, one to two inches of the snowfall over the central Minnesota experienced, according to 5 Eyewitness News Meteorologist Wren Clair, who also reported one more to two inches that accumulated Saturday morning.

The snowfall has created some uncertain driving conditions for Minnesotans, with multiple crashes reported on major roads, including near Interstate 35 and Highway 252.

Snow plows started working to remove the snow on Saturday morning, with MDOT advising vehicles traveling behind them to remain a safe ten-car’s distance behind them.

The chances of snowfall will remain until early afternoon, but are expected to have little or no accumulation.
