The good news for wildcats (15-7, 4-5 sec) that is No. 14 in the latest US Today Coaches Poll and AP Top 25 Rankings are gamecocks on record alone the worst team in the league.

South Carolina is 10-12 overall and The only winless team in conference games (0-9).

But it is not as if Gamecocks have not been competitive. Five of their nine SEC ATTAKS have been with five points or less: Auburn (66-63), Vanderbilt (66-63), Florida (70-69), Mississippi State (65-60 on overtime) and Texas A&M (76-72).
