UFC 312: Three during the radaramps

The card contains another title match in the Co-Main event as Zhang Weili puts his straw weight championship on the line against Tatiana Suarez.

Except The two title matchesThe thirteen match card is certainly not the most stacked, but there are some under the radaramps of fans to sink their teeth into. And below we go over three during the UFC 312 radaramps ahead of Saturday night.

UFC 312: Three during the radaramps

UFC 312: Three during the radaramps: 1. Kody Steele vs. Rongzhu

Undefeated views and Jiu-Jitsu Ace Kody Steele will make his promotional debut after signing the Dana White’s Contender Series last October. The 29-year-old wowed UFC president with another round of body shoots finish against the Chasen Blair.

He runs on a 7 -match’s undefeated line coming into this debut on the UFC 312 and is a -245 favorite against his opponent Rongzhu. The Chinese fighter may only be 24 years old, but has a very impressive resume with 25 wins and only six defeats.

He lost his latest match via doctors stop against Chris Padilla in September 2024. Rongzhu is 1-3 under the UFC banned, but has struggled with the way to UFC and became undefeated with three wins on this stint. This match is guaranteed fireworks and one for fans to be happy to look at UFC 312.

UFC 312: Three during the radaramps: 2. Colby Techolness

Brother of UFC Champ and one of the best pounds for pound fighters, Ilia Topuria, Aleksandre will make his Octagon debut on UFC 312. He was expected to take on Cody Haddon, but that match fell through and is now facing undefeated view Colby Techolness. Topuria runs on a three-match winning row, but has not been inside the cage since his first round of stop victory against Johan Segas in 2023.

On Media Day, Thicnesse said, “He definitely has the same kind of style because they train together, but he is not his brother and I will go out there (Saturday) and show it.” This statement fascinates me in itself. That along with the fact that we get to see the brother of Ilia step inside Octagon.

UFC 312: Three during the radaramps: 3rd Jack Jenkins vs. Gabriel Santos

This match between Jenkins and Santos will act as the highlighted prelim before PPV starts for UFC 312 and should be an electrical way of switching to that part of the card. Jenkins brings a spark to Octagon, and we have seen that in every single one of his excursions. He was signed in 2022 when he defeated Freddy Linares on Dana White’s Contender series and has since gone 3-1 in the UFC.

Most recently, he stopped Herbert Burns 48 seconds into the third round of their match last August. His opponent Santos on the other hand started slowly in his UFC career and lost his first two matches, but earned a unanimous decision against Yizha in September 2024 to put him back in the victory column. The former LFA Master will see the two in a row in UFC 312 on Saturday, just like Jenkins.
