Joe Lunardi updates sitting in March Madness Poding in Alabama vs. Arkansas after Auburn -tab

As if Alabama– –Auburn Rivalry needed more juice, the two programs are currently fighting # 1 overall seeds in the NCAA tournament. Auburn currently has the top place but wounded lost Saturday to Florida. Alabama is next up and has a tough fight against Arkansas to the night capsule.

But according to Espns Joe Lunardi, Alabama can’t jump their enemies in the state with a win. He says Auburn still has the top location still on lock despite having suffered a home loss. The gap can certainly be closed, but even with a win, Alabama will remain at No. 2 in his projections.

Arkansas also has plenty on the line after magically finding back on the bubble. Lunardi says that beating Alabama will result in John Calipari‘s team that is included in the 68-team field. From now on, Razorbacks are part of the group ‘Last Four Out’ sitting at the top.

“Bama’s position is locked, but Arkansas moves into the field with a win,” Lunardi said Via X.

Another three results will be decided before Alabama and Auburn face each other on February 15 in Tuscaloosa. A scenario could present itself where more than just boasting rights could be at stake. It’s a race for the Sec regular season championship, but head-to-head results can decide who is the top seed on selection Sunday.

First up for Crimson Tide, a big-time matchup against a sudden red-warm Arkansas team.

ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY on the way to Tuscaloosa for Alabama-Auburn

ESPN COLLEGE GAMEDAY takes to Tuscaloosa for the top showdown between No. 1 Auburn and No. 3 Alabama on Saturday 15 February.

This will be the first time that one of Alabama -men’s Basketball Games is hosting ESPN College Gameday this season, while it will be Auburn’s second. The tigers previously hosted ESPN’s flagship -preliminary name -show for their games on January 25 against that time No. 6 Tennessee.

For Alabama, Crimson Tide is 8-1 in the SEC game and has won their last five games on the way into the weekend. However, they are 13-1, dating back to the end of November, as many teams have not found a way to follow Alabama’s scoring volume.

Meanwhile, Auburn has largely looked like one of the most dominant teams in the country, and they sit alone at the top of the conference level. They are undefeated in the SEC games on the way into the weekend.
