Warriors can land ex-KNick’s sharp shooting forward via buyout to help Stephen Curry

On Wednesday, the Golden State Warrior’s headlines came by acquiring Jimmy Butler from Miami Heat in a multi-team deal.

The move gave Warrior’s more star power on the way into the second half of the season, but did not give them a deficient free list.

The organization could target A former New York Knick’s sharp shooting forward in the buyout market to improve their circumference shooting and help Stephen Curry.

“The last time Warriors won the championship, they had a sweet-shooting European big man on the guard schedule in Nemanja Bjelica,” wrote Clutch Points’ Jedd Pagaduan on Saturday.

“Now it’s not to say that Bojan Bogdanovic is the same player as Bjelica; Bogdanovic has several ball handling features, while Bjelica is more versatile defensively. “

“However, Bogdanovic has not been able to fit everywhere this year due to injury winner. He has been cleared for work on the field, which is a promising sign, but can Warrior’s gamble what is left of their available money on someone who is not guaranteed to be an effective player for them for the stretch drive? “

After spending the first half of the campaign 2023-24 with Detroit Pistons, Bogdanovic was traded for Knick’s midway through the year.

Bogdanovic appeared in 29 seasonal competitions and four clashes after the season with New York before injuring his wrist and foot.

While the previous election of the second round was playing through his wrist injury, he was forced to miss the rest of the playoffs after suffering a season-ending foot injury in Knicks’ Game 4 win over the Philadelphia 76ers.

Bogdanovic was an average of 10.4 points on 37.0% three -point shooting during the regular season and 6.0 points on 40% long -range shooting in the post -season with Knicks.

The 35-year-old veteran was sent to Brooklyn Nets during the free agency, but has not appeared in a game for the franchise this year after surgery out of season.

Given Warriors is a team that is proud to try and drill as many triple as possible in 48 minutes, Bogdanovic would be an ideal fit for the organization.

Bogdanovic would probably be a responsibility defensively, but he could stay wide on the perimeter of the offensive end and maximize his three-point shooting options with dubs.

Golden State should consider acquiring Bogdanovic after completing a meaningful agreement by February 6th trading deadline.
