Hawks vs wizards prediction, picks & odds for tonight’s NBA game

Two teams that have made significant changes in the trade deadline will be exposed to Saturday night as Washington Wizards hosts Atlanta Hawks in Capital One Arena.

Despite a couple of recent wins, Washington is still fighting teams for playoffs, so I take Atlanta to cover in my Hawks vs. Wizard’s predictions.

My analysis
Both teams come into tonight’s match with new players who are now available after the trade deadline. Atlanta Hawks want players, including Caris Lever and Nah’shon “Bones” Hyland in the arrangement tonight, while Washington Wizards adds Khris Middleton and Marcus Smart, among many others.

Although these teams will have different looks, none of these acquisitions are the kind of differences that we have to make great adjustments to in our analysis. In addition, both teams lost significant pieces in their trades: Atlanta sent De’Anre Hunter (19.0 ppg) to Cleveland Cavaliers, while Washington sent Kyle Kuzma (15.2 ppg) to Milwaukee Bucks, including outputs for both troops.

In other words, these teams will look very different than they did just a few days ago, making disabling this game a little more difficult than usual. But we can still look at the players who remain on these guards and see that one side has a clear edge.

Atlanta may not be a serious competitor, but Trae Young (23.3 ppg) is a legitimate star that can give an offense on their own. Young average a double-double this season thanks to its 11.4 assists per Match. Hawks still have other weapons that Young can also play with, with the young Dyson Daniels (13.8 PG) and Onyeka Okongwu (12.2 PG) assumes major roles in the offense thanks to injuries and trading deadline.

As for Washington, this is Jordan Poole’s team. The 25-year-old shooting guard is an average of 20.8 ppg, but is not quite the all-round cabinet that Young is for Hawks. Losing Kuzma and Center Jonas Valanciunas has limited Wizards’ settings on offense, while Rookie Alex Sarr (11.5 ppg) still learns how to consistently contribute to the NBA level.

Atlanta had more talent and more experience before the trade deadline; Both of these benefits also persist afterwards. It should make an even bigger difference between the second game in a back-to-back for both teams, with Washington already going 0-8 in this situation this season. I support Hawks to cover the spread like a road favorite tonight.

To go with my efforts at Hawks, I also take under as part of my same game parlay for tonight. While both teams have been tending over late, most of these results came against much lower totals for the wizards, while the hawks have been up and down to score, and sent a total of only 225 points against Milwaukee Bucks last night . With both teams that integrate new parts, this can be a slightly duller game with less score than expected.

I also want to take Trae Young to get in during his scoring a total of 28.5 points. Young scores only 23.3 ppg, well below its total amount for tonight, and has only gone over this number in three of its last 11 games. While Young had an outbreak of scoring production last week, I run the longer trend with this effort.
