Fantasy Basketball Pickups: Couple bulls that supply value sans avalanche

This last weekend in the NBA offered no shortage of headings. Less than 24 hours after Luka DoncicAndAnthony Davis Trade was advertised, news broke it De’Aaron Fox was on his way to San Antonio and Zach avalanche were treated to Sacramento. The avalanche era is over in Chicago, and two bulls stepped up in a big way on Tuesday. Ayo Dosunmu (35% Guard) Compiled a 21/2/9/1/1 line with two triple on 8-of-11 shooting and rookie Matas Buzelis (14%) Finished Tuesday’s win over Miami with 24 points (10-of-10 fg), three rebounds, two blocked shots and four three-pointers. Both players should see their options rise with avalanches away, and both are worth looking in leagues of almost any size.

Houston’s trip to the Barclays Center delivered tonight’s most exciting finish as the nets deleted a four-point deficit in the last eight seconds to steal a win at d’Angelo Russell’s Go-Ahead triple. Keon Johnson (17%) Led Brooklyn in the scoring with 22 points, and he has quietly delivered the top-100 per-game fantasy value across the past two weeks. He is worth a look, especially in deeper leagues. Cam Whitmore played well again but it was rookie Reed Sheppard (3%) There stole the show. This year’s third overall election delivered a career-best performance with 16 points, seven boards and three triple in 28 minutes.

Dosunmu, Buzelis, Johnson and Sheppard are all on the radar, and here are a few more guys to consider adding.

PF/C Guerschon Yabusele (37%), Philadelphia 76ers

Yabusele continues to impress, and he ended Tuesday’s win over Dallas with a 19/8/4 line. He remained in the starting lineup despite the fact that Joel Embiid returned to court, and Yabusele had to see meaningful minutes and opportunities for the rest of the season. He has been a top-50 per-game fantasy option for the past two weeks.

C kelly olynyk (4%), Toronto Raptors

Jakob Poeltl went down with a hip pool injury on Tuesday and he is questionable to play Wednesday. Olynyk started the second half in his place and could earn a stain start for the second game in Toronto’s back-to-back set. He ended with an 11/9/3 line across 21.5 minutes Tuesday and his playing time could rise in his next game.

PG Cole Anthony (19%), Orlando Magic

Anthony has stepped up as scores and gives Orlando’s unclear violation a spark with back-to-back 20-point games. He is ranked just outside the top 75 in fantasy hoops in the game for the past two weeks, and he should continue to watch a healthy playing time and lots of shooting attempts for as long as Jalen Suggs is out.

PF/C Jaxson Hayes (21%), Los Angeles Lakers

According to Rob Pelinka, the middle market is dry, so there is a chance that Lakers will not be able to tackle the gigantic hole they have in the center before Thursday’s trading deadline. This means that Hayes could continue to see meaningful minutes in frontcourt. He will not give a large number, but he can block and rebound effectively and offers high FG% and low revenue.

PF/C Nikola Jovic (36%), Miami Heat

Jovic stroked five triple and scored 20 points on Tuesday and reached double -digit points for the fifth equal competition. He is ranked within the top 85 in fantasy value per. Play over his last five games, and he could reasonably press for the top-100 value for the rest of the season with Jimmy Butler, who will unlikely to take the court as a member of the heat again.
