Brad Pitt speeds through an explosive Super Bowl -Trailer for ‘F1’ – Watch

Brad Pitt and Damson Idris are on their way to greatness this summer in the new F1 trailer.

The high -speed racing movie debuted a trailer on the Super Bowl on Sunday showing new recordings of Pitt, 61, behind the wheel.

Snowfall Star Idris, 33, plays racing car driver Joshua Pearce from the fictional APXGP team that Pitt’s Sonny Hayes comes out of retirement for mentor. The couple eventually becomes teammates. The film was filmed “During the Actual Grand Prix weekend as the team competes against the sport’s titans”, according to Warner Bros.

Talking to Vanity Fair Last summer, Idris had nothing but good things to say about his Costar’s ability to accurately produce a Formula One driver.

“I don’t know if people know this but he’s really good behind that car. Really good. Too good almost. He makes me nervous how good he is,” Children of blood and bones Actor told the business in an interview in July 2024.

At that time, Idris also praised Pitt for “his humility,” as he said was “unparalleled.”

The first trailer for the Joseph Kosinski-In-Instruated Movie was released earlier that month.

In preview, Pitt explains to the team’s technical director Kate (played by Kerry Condon) that the car he is working with must “be built for battle.” When she asks how to do it “safe,” his answer is simple: “Who said something about safe?”

“We have actually driven Brad and Damson the cars, which is pretty spectacular in itself, but to do it in front of a living audience and with the speeds they do and find out a way to catch it,” Kosinski previously told Deadline. ”

“The logistics over it is in contrast to something I have done before,” added the filmmaker who previously directed the 2022s Top Gun: Maverick Contributing Tom Cruise.

Javier Bardem, Tobias Menzies, Sarah Niles, Kim Bodnia and Samson Kayo also join Idris, Condon and Pitt for the action movie. In addition to the A-LIST actors, seven-time Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton is one of the producers for the project.

F1 is in theaters 27 June.
