Eagles seem to start their takeover in NFC

The Philadelphia Eagles have made the Super Bowl for the second time in three seasons. Does this NFL mock -drafting do them further at the top of the conference? Eagles feel extremely close to becoming the undisputed top dog in NFC.

As the San Francisco 49ers grow old and apparently always injured and the Detroit Lions still a bit of an unknown, Eagles may have a ‘I’ to take over the NFC and really start their own dynasty. For the second time in three seasons, Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs meet in the Super Bowl.

It was a three-point Eagles’ defeat back in the Super Bowl 57. Now in the Super Bowl 59, the more talented Eagles are trying to get a revenge and win their second Super Bowl since the NFL season 2017. Can this 2025 NFL Mock Draft Help them take over NFC in future seasons?

2025 NFL MOCK Draft: Eagles seem to start their acquisition in NFC

31. Pick – Walter Nolen, DT, Ole Miss

The team could lose both Milton Williams and Josh Sweat along their defensive line in free agency, and we all know that Brandon Graham is ready to retire, so this is definitely a need for the team. Howie Roseman has done a masterful job by always ensuring that the defensive line is as solid as they come, so they use the 31st choice on the explosive defensive tackle from Ole Miss in the Walter Nolen.

Philly again uses a top choice on someone along the defensive line.

63. Election – Barrett Carter – LB, Clemson

Nakobe Dean has an injury history and Ilb Zack Baun is currently intended to be a free agent so ILB could be another need for this team. Barrett Carter could be a long-lasting fixture at ILB for Eagles in the coming years, and with the possibility that Philly is able to keep Baun on a long-term deal, they may have another young ILB on a rookie deal.

Barrett Carter is their choice at the bottom of the second round.

95. Pick – Gray Zabel, OT, North Dakota State

Gray Zabel has played the entire offensive line in college and will end up being a very good pro. It feels honestly unfair that I was able to draft him at Pick 95. Jeff Stoutland is the best Olympic coach in the NFL and gets an advanced prospect of working with. We saw how much success he had this year to get Mekhi Becton to play guard, and I can’t imagine another starting caliber Olympics would hurt.

I wonder if long -term right tackle lane Johnson is considering retirement after the Super Bowl 59? In that case, Eagles should make some blend along their Olympics. Gray Zabel can help keep IOL strong.

129. Election – Ollie Gordon, RB, Oklahoma State

Getting another shower in the back field is a good idea. Saquon Barkley broke the 2,000-yard mark in 2024, but you have to wonder with him slowly start getting up there in age if the wheels can also slowly start to fall off. Ollie Gordon is located right in the middle of a crazy deep and talented RB class in the 2025 NFL draft.

He may not be any player on the position in the NFL, but he could take the strain from Barkley from time to time. He is 6’2 “and about 220 pounds, so the size is clear. Gordon for Eagles at Pick 129 in this NFL mock draft.

162. Election – Theo Wease JR, WR, Missouri

Another area where Howie Roseman always invests in is the weapon of offense. Philly needs one of the best playmaking devices in the NFL and they could add it with Theo Wease JR from Missouri.

166. Election – Ozzy Trapilo, OT, Boston College

To end this Eagles’ spotted draft, the birds take Ozzy Trapilo, a tackle from Boston College. GM Howie Roseman’s roster-building Trends have been on top of the NFL for years, so there’s no reason why he goes away from it. The trenches will always be a highest priority for this front office.
