A commercial broadcast during this year’s Super Bowl will have a Fort Collins Touch.

Dusty Albertz, a Rocky Mountain High School candidate and Fort Collins natives, made sound design, sound mixing and voiceover to Ram Trucks’ Super Bowl -Commercial with Glen Powell (“Twisters”). Albertz also made the sound design and interfered with crowdstrike’s advertising for last year’s Super Bowl through his company, Howdy Sound.

This year’s advertisement will be a minute long and air in the second quarter of the Super Bowl 59 (LIX), Albertz said. The game is expected to attract more than 120 million viewers as Philadelphia Eagles assumes Kansas City Chiefs, per. Reporting from Associated Press.

Albertz worked on the advertisement from his home studio in Fort Collins and said he coordinated with Powell, who recorded his voiceover work from a London audio stall from there.

“I’m always very grateful to get the call for a Super Bowl site,” Albertz said. “It’s very high efforts. I am grateful for (client’s and agency) confidence.”

After graduation from Rocky Mountain High School in 2003, Albertz studied at the Art Institute of Austin. He and his wife, Lillian, moved from Austin, Texas, to Fort Collins after the start of the Covid-19 pandemic. Albertz continued his commercial work from Colorado and worked with clients such as Southwest Airlines, JPMorgan Chase, GMC, Goodyear Tires, ESPN and more last year, he said.
