Ascension Sheriff’s Deputy Involved in Mortal Shooting | Crime/Police

An ascent of the parish -lensmann’s deputy shot someone who later died in the hospital in an early Monday breakfast in Gonzales, according to Louisiana State Police, who is investigating the shooting.

The shooting happened near LA. 44 and ORICE ROTH ROAD. No officers were injured during the incident.

“This is an active study and further information will be released when it becomes available,” the state police said in a news message.
