Los Angeles (Kyodo) -Rui Hachimura scored a season high 24 points with nine rebounds when Los Angeles Lakers beat Indiana Pacers 124-117 Saturday without LeBron James or recent acquisition Luka Doncic.

Austin Reaves led the game with 45 points at Crypto.com Arena as Lakers expanded their winning row to five and improved to 31-19 for the season.

On his 27th birthday, Hachimura went from Japan’s Toyama Prefecture 8-for-13 from the field, including 2-for-3 from three-point reach.
