Suns face grizzlies, rockets in back-to-back before all-star break

The Phoenix Suns Bret two of NBA’s best teams that enter the All-Star break.

Suns finishes a three-game home state on Tuesday against Memphis Grizzlies and then takes the Houston Rockets on the road in the other of a back-to-back Wednesday before the break.

Grizzlies and rockets have been in the top four of the Western conference for most of the season, and each team has an all-star big man.

Jaren Jackson Jr. Leader Memphis in the scoring and is one of NBA’s leading defenders who have been named the league’s defensive player in the year of the 2022-23 season.

He received his second All-Star Nod this season. The 2025 NBA All-Star game is February 16 at the Chase Center in San Francisco.

The Alps Sengun average a double-double for rockets. The versatile BIG will make his first all-star appearance.

Suns is 0-1 against Grizzlies, Loser, 117-112, at home on New Year’s Eve. They have not yet played Rockets.

Phoenix comes out of the All-Star break with four straight road games starting February 20 against San Antonio at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas.

It will be a home game for Spurs, but a return home for Suns super star Kevin Durant, who starred at the University of Texas in a season before entering the 2007 NBA draft. He was the second overall choice.
