What to know

  • We are in several rounds of snow and icy weather in the Philadelphia region this week.
  • The first alarm weather team released a first alarm to collect snow and dangerous trips for South Jersey, Delaware, Philadelphia and the immediate Pennsylvania suburbs from 1 p.m. 16 Tuesday, February 11, 2025 to 7 on Wednesday, February 12.
  • National Weather Service also issued A winter storm warning For Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday afternoon for the southernmost Jersey Shore communities and the central and southern delaware. Traveling in these areas was potentially difficult during the heaviest snowfall.
  • The snow began late Tuesday afternoon and continued overnight before he mostly wrapped before dawn on Wednesday morning.
  • The heaviest snowfall (as expected) fell over Delaware and southern New Jersey, especially near the coast, where more than half a foot of snow fell in some places.
