Pitch for PSG’s clash with Brest looks more Sunday the league than UCL

Paris Saint Germain faces Brest in the Champions League-play-off round as they offer a place in the 16-round, but the course prepared for them looks less than ideal.

Due to UEFA rules, Brest cannot play home matches in their own stadium, which means their “home” grounds are actually on the second tier side of Guingamps Stade de Roudourou, 114 km away from Brest.

And although Guingamp has not played there since February 1st, the course is far from the blanket expected by modern footballers.

Will PSG be able to overcome it to take advantage of Parc des Princes?
