Aircraft owned by the rock legend, 1 dead and 3 wounded

A plane owned by Motley Crue’s lead singer Vince Neil, crashed, killed a passenger and injured three others. Neil himself was not on board.

The accident took place on Monday afternoon at Scottsdale Municipal Airport in Arizona. Neil’s long -time girlfriend, Rain Hannahwere injured and lasting five broken ribs in the crash.

The Federal Aviation Administration said the aircraft, a Learjet 35A, which had operated from Austin, Texas, left the runway when it arrived at 1 p.m. 14:39 and hit a Gulfstream 200 business beam parked.

A named passenger was declared dead and three others were taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries. A fifth person refused medical treatment.

Motley Crue published a statement that identified the aircraft’s pilot as the only accident before deleting the post and postponing another statement that did not specify who had died.

“For reasons unknown at this time, the plane went from the runway and made it collide with another parked aircraft. Aboard Mr. Neil’s aircraft were two pilots and two passengers. Mr. Neil was not on the plane, ” The statement read. “Several specific details regarding the collision are not available as this is a rapidly evolving situation and there is a continuous study.”

A further study is conducted by the National Transportation Safety Board.

Scottsdale Airport does not offer commercial flights or airlines, although it houses many companies’ private jets. PGA Tour, Phoenix kept open over the weekend, causing it to be one of the airport’s busiest times of the year.
