Super Bowl: Nick Sirianni asks and Kellen Moore to ‘Running this S *** back’ after win, links to Saint’s job

Nick Sirianni doesn’t want his offensive coordinator to go.

So he chose the perfect moment – right after the two raised Lombardi trophy together – to try to convince Kellen Moore to stay around next season.

“Kellen, let’s drive this s *** back Kellen,” Sirianni said on Fox on Sunday night. “Let’s run this back.”

Eagles rolled to a dominant 40-22 win over Kansas City Chiefs in the Super Bowl Lix Sunday night in New Orleans. The victory that gave Eagles just their second championship in the story, concluded Patrick Mahomes and Chiefs’ hope for a historic three-peat.

Eagles’ violation, which Moore took over this season, was excellent all year round thanks to a record-breaking race from driving Saquon Barkley back and quarterback Jalen hurts-as went away from the Super Bowl like the game’s MVP. They went 14-3 and won the NFC East before their perfect race in the playoffs.

But Moore, who has been one of the most sought -after coordinators since his early success in the role of Dalla’s cowboys, allegedly agreed to take over as New Orleans Saints’ main coach next season. The saints who are not in a major financial situation are the last team this cycle to hire a head coach. An official announcement is expected in the near future now that the Super Bowl is over.

“I do (expect him to leave),” said Eagles -owner Jeffrey Lurie when asked about Moore by Yahoo Sports’ Jori Epstein Sunday night. “Unfortunately, we will have to wish him the best with New Orleans. (He is a) very smart coach who was able to customize our offense week to week (AS) needed to win games.”

It’s easy to see why Moore wants to take the holy jobs, even with all its perceived problems. He is not yet on the head coach of the league, and just shy for double -digit teams has been looking for interviews with Moore since he reached the coordinator level. He is largely expected to be the head coach of the league at one point and he seems to have the chance to make it step now. And with a Super Bowl ring now acquired, a jump to the next level – the final level – makes sense.

But according to how dominant their violation was, it’s no wonder Sirianni will convince him to stay around. And delaying this jump one year could work better for almost everyone.

That is, everyone except the saints.
