Trump LAST: Trump raises doubts about the ceasefire – and says ‘We will take Gaza’ under ‘US Authority’ | Us news

As Donald Trump and King Abdullah begin conversations, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has issued an ultimatum about Gaza that repeats the US president’s own.

Yesterday, Trump told journalists that the ceasefire should be canceled if Hamas does not release all remaining hostages at noon on Saturday.

Netanyahu has just said that his security cabinet has voted for exactly the same proposal.

“If Hamas does not return our hostages on Saturday noon, the ceasefire will be completed and IDF will return to intense matches until Hamas is finally defeated,” he said.

“Last night I ordered IDF to gather forces inside and around the Gaza Strip.”

There are still 17 hostages released from Gaza during this phase of the ceasefire, eight of which Israel has said died.

He added: “We all also greeted President Trump’s demand for the release of our hostages before Saturday noon, and we all also greeted the president’s revolutionary vision for Gaza’s future.”

The next transfer of three hostages was scheduled for Saturday, but Hamas has threatened to delay.

The group accused Israel of not giving its end of the agreement by initially delaying the return of the Palestinians to Northern Gaza, performing strikes over the territory and preventing the entrance to tents, mobile houses and medical supplies to hospitals.
