How much snow does DC get?

Washington (DC News now) – The winter hites continue to come, and people across DC, Maryland and Virginia are getting ready for another Tuesday for Wednesday.

We definitely expect snow as part of the storm system, and there is a fairly wide range of totals for DMV and the areas outside it.

Prognosis from DC News Now Weather Team

From Tuesday morning, the range was 2 ″ to 4 ″ to the west and 6 ″ to 8 ″ to the south.

In DMV, proper, Weather news that now anitcipated 4 ″ to 6 ″ snowfall.

DC News Now were meteorologists who predicted that stabiling snow bands would stand along and south of I-66 at 1 p.m. 17.00 Heavy, wet snow was expected for southern parts of the area. In places north of DC, the snow must be of a fluffier consistency.

DC News Now Weather Team said Snow would continue to fall at night with accumulating snow that ended early Wednesday morning.

Emergency state declared in Virginia prior to winter weather

A number of winter weather advisers, watches and warnings were in place throughout the region on Tuesday, where everyone is expected to expire early Wednesday morning.

That said, DMV should look for another round of winter rainfall late in the day Wednesday.
