Super Bowl draws a record average of 127.7 million viewers; most viewed games and half -time shows in the story

Although Philadelphia Eagles turned the Super Bowl Lix into a Rout, viewers still in unprecedented number. According to Fox Sports, preliminary projected viewers are an average of 127.7 million viewers across Fox, Fox Deportes, TUBI, Telemundo and NFL’s digital properties.

The number of 127.7 million is a new high viewing for the Super Bowl, an increase of 3 percent from last year’s average of 123.7 million.

The Super Bowl Halfime Show, with Kendrick Lamar, was an average of 133.5 million viewers across all platforms in the window 8: 30-8: 45, an increase of 3 percent over last year’s 129.3 million. It ranks as the most watched Super Bowl-half-time show in the story.

In welcome news for NFL’s movement towards digital and streaming platforms, the Super Bowl Lix released a record-high streaming viewing of 14.5 million, with TUBI accounting for 13.6 million of this total amount alone.
