Finally, accumulation satals for Li’s weekend -sne; Is more on the way?

Long Island, New – Snow Totals for the weekend’s winter are in – with more snow expected this week, according to the National Weather Service.

Dominic Ramunni, meteorologist at the National Weather Service Office in Upton, said that a slight snowfall is expected on Tues in Long Island, with 1 to 3 inch accumulation expected. The snow is intended to start around 1 p.m. 18 or at. 19 and end around 7 p.m. 21 to 22, and bottled overnight at the beginning of Wednesday.

Temperatures on Tuesday were to float around in the mid -30s and fall to the top 20s on Tuesday night, he said.

Next, Ramunni said, Long Island will “dry out very short” for about 12 to 18 hours before a “second round” of snow moves through Wednesday night. This weather event is expected to be a little milder, with light snow that turns into a winter blend with rain and only light accumulation, he said.
