I got my teacher pregnant when I was 13 years old. Everyone calls her a predator … but I made the first move

A teenage boy who says he got his New Jersey Teaches pregnant when he was 13 years old and she was 28 standing with her after she was arrested – and insists he initiated the relationship.

The boy, who does not name DailyMail.com, said in an extraordinarily exclusive interview that Laura Caron, 34, should not face trial and criticized someone who calls her a predator.

Former college basketball player Caron is awaiting trial and potentially transferring 10 years in prison on charges, she raped the boy who moved in with her when he was just 11 years old.

But that boy – who is now 19 years old – insists that he does not want a victim, loves Caron with all his heart and hopes they can be a family soon.

Prosecutors say she swapped the young gut and exposed him to years of abuse before she allegedly had her child in 2019.

Reportedly, the couple kept the romance secret, and Caron allegedly told friends at a baby shower that the father was ‘out of the picture’.

The relationship only arose years later when the boy’s father saw a photograph of Caron’s then Toddler daughter and noticed the creepy resemblance to his son.

Now, if convicted, Caron could face a decade behind columns on sharpened sexual assault in a case that has sent shock waves through the school and the local community.

In an interview with DailyMail.com, the boy said she should not be imprisoned and insist that he was ‘not cared for’ by Coran.

Laura Caron, a fifth grade teacher at Middle Township Elementary School, was charged with sexual assault by the boy in her home between 2016 to 2020

He added that he is not allowed to talk to the child as the case goes through the courts.

“They have to drop all taxes. I was not cared for or raped or manipulated by her. She never started anything, ”he told DailyMail.com.

‘I started everything. If it was up to me, she wouldn’t have been in prison. It’s been six or seven years. I’m 19 by being 20. ‘

The teenager rejected any suggestion that the alleged abuse happened when he was 11, calling the allegations ‘crazy’.

Caron refused to comment on the unpleasant accusations when she left a bail hearing in Cape May, New Jersey, on January 21st.

She was photographed and looked stressed when she came out of court but did not answer questions.

Caron is scheduled back in court on February 25 for another hearing.

Caron, a fifth grade teacher and basketball coach at Middle Township Elementary School #2 located in the Cape May Court House, met the boy after teaching his older sister.

His parents saw how their daughter thrived under Caron’s guidance and wanted the same for their son.

She quickly became friends with the boy’s mother who brought her closer to the family.

They trusted Caron to look after their son and two other children so much that they let them live in her house overnight.

Caron ended up taking them to afterschool basketball practice and helping them with their homework.

The overnight stay became more frequent and full time.

It was during this period that Caron became pregnant. Her baby was born in 2019.

No one in the boy’s family suspected he could be the father.

In December, when the boy’s father saw a photo of Caron’s daughter, he was troubled by resembling his son.

He contacted the authorities and police opened an investigation.

Caron, who lived with his mother, continued to teach at primary school after her daughter was born.

Her mother Kathleen Douglass babysit her grandson – until her arrest on January 15.

Her bail conditions do not include having any contact with the baby’s alleged father.

The order from court, he says, has been difficult to handle.

“I can’t talk to them. I wish I could, but I can’t, and it stinks, ”he told DailyMail.com.

Seeing the stories out there about Caron called a ‘predator’ has also been tough, he added.

“I’ve seen it all, and it’s crazy,” he said. “The media is weird to become those things.”

He accused his father of the fallen.

“All this started with a Facebook post from my dad,” he told DailyMail.com. “I didn’t want her to be offended like that.”

He did not elaborate, but said they are now alienated.

“It’s so deep,” he explained. ‘Like the world has no idea what she has done for my family.’

“I love her with all my heart. She was there for me and my family. ‘

The teenager is a prominent athlete and hopes to enter a top college program.

Since the story broke he has tried to stay focused, but admits that it has been ‘a lot’.

Caron’s lawyer John Tumelty claimed the state made a ‘conscious decision’ to make an arrest before DNA test was completed.

He added that there is no current evidence showing that Caron’s daughter is related to the victim, according to 6ABC Action News.

“And only after the arrest do they get search options after her DNA.

“They got the victim’s DNA, voluntarily from him, and they have a search for my client’s five -year -old daughter after her DNA.

“And it will take months for the proof that biological proof to be obtained is sent to the laboratory and processed,” he said.

DailyMail.com reached out to Tumelty, but he did not respond to our request for comment.

Middle Township School District Superintendent Dr. David Salvo told DailyMail.com after the accusations became known that Caron was placed on ‘paid administrative leave’.

“When the district was first notified of the claims, the employee was immediately placed and continues to be in paid administrative leave,” he said.
