Previous 76ers -Player is not debuting in Philly

Prior to their matchup against Philadelphia 76ers, Toronto Raptors made some critical changes in their list. One of the movements included the addition of PJ Tucker.

The former Sixers Forward has not competed since last season. He is not scheduled to debut in Raptors Tuesday in South Philly, as the injuries report suggests he is not with the team.

Last year, Tucker performed in 28 games with Los Angeles Clippers. When Clippers decided he was not part of the team’s rotation, Tucker was considered a possible trading candidate. He stuck with the cliffs throughout the rest of the season 2023-2024.

As Clippers approached the start of the current season, the team announced that Tucker would be gone as they were looking for a way to solve the situation. The veteran tip had no intention of playing for Clippers again.

Prior to the trade deadline, Tucker was moved to Utah Jazz along with former Sixers Center Mo Bamba. On the deadline, Tucker thought he was on his way to the Miami heat. Raptors ended up acquiring Tucker in a multi-team trade.

At this point, it’s unclear what’s next for Tucker. He does not seem to hurry to debut for Raptors who have a record of 16-37, and places them 13 at the eastern conference.

If there is a buyout scenario in Play, Tucker would definitely search for a playoff-ready organization. So far, there has been no discussion about the 39-year-old landing of a buyout. This summer, Tucker is scheduled to become a free agent for the first time since 2022 when he signed with the 76s.

This year, the last season of the three -year -old, $ 33 million deal Tucker is the ink with Philadelphia.
