AEW FREE AGENT MAKED SKALLS BOY WWE -DEBUT

The reports had made the rounds that several AEW stars had been released and there were some familiar names on this list. It wasn’t known if any of them would show up on WWE at one point down the line, but now we have our answer to that question as a fan-favorite aew star has now made their shocking WWE debut in the evening Episode of NXT and that’s none other than Ricky Starks. You can see Starks’ unexpected debut in the video below.

The main event for tonight’s NXT is the Stålburkampen for the NXT North American Championship between Master Tony d’Angelo and Ridge Holland, but NXT got the party started early when someone showed up in the crowd. This person was Ricky Starks and the crowd started singing Ricky as soon as they discovered him.

Starks delivered a promo and announced that not only was the hottest brand, but that they also needed the hottest free agent, and he now calls WWE NXT his home from here and out.

“This is the hottest brand and you need the hottest free agent baby,” Starks said. “Don’t let the beautiful face and expensive scent fool you, I’m here to turn this place upside down. And everyone has begged the question of when will the revolution be television again, yes, I’m not here? “

The audience responded with song from Ricky as things that were transferred to the main event, and a remarkable element was that comment never actually said his name. They referred to him as someone who the audience clearly knows, and WWE didn’t jump out of the Ricky songs, so it is not known if he will go from Ricky Starks in WWE, or if he gets a change of his name from here and out.

We’ve seen both happen from AEW to WWE crossovers, though most times AEW stars are a tendency to keep their past names. Jade Cargill, Ethan Page and Shawn Spears retained all their names as they jumped over to WWE, and of course Cody Rhodes did, but he was first in WWE. Lexis King, however, received a name change, though he has referred to his father recently in Promos and Segments, so maybe it changes at some point on the line.
