Boulder Girls Swimming: Hazel Huilman won the 100-yard butterfly and the 100 breast stream when Panthers took eighth at 5A Swim Meet Friday. Sloan Zallen took number two in 200 freestyle and fourth in 500 free.

BROOMFIELD GIRLS Swimming: Eagles ended in third place at 4A State Meet on Saturday, led by Ridley Hagerman’s silver in 500 freestyle and bronze in 200. Ellie Foulke was third in 200 im and fourth in 500. Myra Whry was third in 100 freestyle. They were all part of the 400 free baton that took second place.

BROOMfield Wrestling: The boys finished in second place at 5A Region 3 and qualified eight for the state’s wrestling tournament. Nicholas Penfold (138 pounds weight class) and Manny Lopez (165S) ​​won their parentheses, while Ethan Brown (113s) and August Soto (132S) took second place. The girls ended sixth at their regional with five qualification. Shala Martinez (190s) won, while Lizette Cedillo (155S) was runner-up.

Erie Wrestling: The Tigers qualified eight for the State Wrestling tournament and finished in third place at 5A Region 3rd Carson Hageman (190 Pound Weight Class) won his bracket, while Noah Bridgewater (126S), Hunter Waneka (150s), Tyler Muir (157s) and Austin Muir (175S) ended in second place.

FairView Girls’ Swimming: Lexi Byrn took third place in the 100 butterfly, and the knights went fourth in the 200 medley relay when they finished in third place at the 5A State Swim Meet on Friday.

Frederick Wrestling: Golden Eagles ended in fifth place at 4A Region 2 and qualified six for the state tournament. Nikolas Carrillo (120 pounds weight class), Diego Rangel (157s) and Nacoa Meisinger (285S) ended in second place, while Ricardo Moreno (third, 150s), Rowen Kaiser (190s) and Logan Vickers (fourth, 113s) also qualified.

Holy Family Wrestling: The boys won Class 3A -Region 1 and qualified nine wrestlers for the state tournament. Lorenzo Trujillo (120 pounds weight class), Adam Moore (138S), Fisher Reenan (165s) and Camden Austin (215S) won their brackets. The girls also won their regional, qualified eight. Veronika Hafer (100s) won, while Jayci Punderers (115S), Makayla Ward (130s) Frances Bralish (145S), Graci Baker (155S) and Makaila Moosbruer (190s) ended in second place.

Mead Wrestling: The boys qualified seven wrestlers for the State Wrestling tournament and finished number two at 4A Region 2. BRECKAN PALKO (120 pounds weight class), Leister Bowling IV (175S), William Eilers (215S) and Grant Gordon (285S) won their parentheses. Mavericks ‘girls’ team ended sixth on their regional tournament and qualified four wrestlers. Grace Sierra (125S) led the way with a regional title.

Monarch Girls’ Swimming: The coyotes took number two at the 4A State Swim Meet Saturday. Eliza Lennox won 50 and 100-yard freestyles, while Audrey Shambo won 100 breast power and took the second in 200 im. Both were part of the winning 200 medley relay.

Skyline Wrestling: At 4A Region 4, Falcons won two individual titles and qualified six wrestlers for the National Wrestling tournament. Brody Hufford (106 pounds weight class) and Tobias Pinson (144S) won their parentheses. Lucas Anson (third, 138S), Owen McGee (third, 175S), Jovanny Mendoza (Third, 190s) and Angel Perez (Fourth, 165S) ​​also qualified.

Alexandra Eschmeyer, Top to Peak Girls’ Basketball: In two games last week, Eschmeyer combined for 69 points, 32 rebounds and eight blocks. McDonald’s All-American is an average of 26.9 points, 13.8 rebounds and 3.2 blocks this season.

Elizabeth Fay, Niwot Girls’ Swimming: Fay repeated himself as Class 4A diving master and won with a score of 529.50.

Jimeto Orji, Jefferson Academy Boys’ Basketball: The junior (18.2 ppg and 10.7 rpg) had two double doubles across three games last week. He combined for 52 points and 30 rebounds.

Mason Shore, Centaurus Wrestling: He won the weight class of 215 pounds at 5A Region 4 and qualified for the state tournament. He had three pins.

Lake Smith, Boulder Boys’ Basketball: He scored 25 points and hit the game-winning bucket in the last moments in a 75-73 win over the mountain range on Thursday. Smith (16.5 ppg) average 22 points over his last six games. The victory held Panthers at the top of the 6A/5A Rocky Mountain League.

JR Spence, Centaurus Wrestling: He won the 120 -pound weight bracket at 5A Region 4 and qualified for the state tournament. He had two pins and a technical fall.

Virginia Walsh, Centaurus Girls’ Swimming: She finished in second place in 100-yard backstroke and third in the 100 butterfly at the 4A State Meet Saturday. Warriors ended up in fourth place as a team.
