Qualified customers have been invited to participate via E -mail or via a banner on their Tesco ClubCard app.

By signing up, participants will receive 20 personalized challenges in promotional period, which they can complete up to 10.

Each completed challenge will reward shoppers with extra club card points, potentially up to £ 50.

The challenges are tailored to individual consumption habits and are, in addition to any personalized offers and offers that are already available through the app or e email.

However, the amount that customers need to take to implement each challenge will vary depending on the individual.

This offer is especially advantageous for those who already planned to shop in the specified categories as it allows them to earn extra points on their usual purchases.

However, consumer groups have previously warned that such schemes can encourage expenses, potentially lead to households exceeding their budgets.

Some members have also expressed frustration on social media and notice that the challenges do not always match their regular shopping habits.

A shopper said on Facebook: “Mine is garbage, most of the things are things I never buy.

“I thought these challenges are based on what you buy in your shopping …”

Another said, “Totally agree. I just looked at mine and all the challenges are products I never buy.

“It’s pointless to do it as I get no extra points.”

A third said, “Oh completely meaningless to me.”

For those who want to maximize their reward, we have compiled a list of ten additional ways to earn points, including partnerships with Ovo Energy, Vauxhall and Inkjet Recycling.

These options allow ClubCard members to accumulate points through a number of consumption options.

How does Tesco’s club card work?

Tesco’s ClubCard scheme allows shoppers to earn points when they shop, these points can then be transformed into vouchers for money from food or other reward partner schemes.

When you spend £ 1 in the store or online you get a point when you scan your card or app in the box.

Drivers using club cards now get a point for every two liters used on fuel.

You can also double their value when you switch them to discounts with “reward partners”.

For example, you can transform your vouchers into a 3 month Disney+ standard with ADS subscription.

To do this, select £ 7.50 in ClubCard value coupons to get a 3 month standard with ADS Disney+ subscription.

Tesco shoppers can also get club card prices when they have the loyalty card.

Restore lost club card points

Many people lose or forget to use their Tesco value coupons, but there is an easy way to scratch the last two years with unused vouchers.

Here’s exactly how to find out if you have unused vouchers.

You need your name, E -Mail address and club card number by hand.

Once you have logged in, navigate to the “My ClubCard account” and then click “Vouchere” to see a complete list of any coupons you still need.

You can use the code included in your voucher to use online.

If you want to redeem them in the store, print them and take them with you.
