Yes Morant dribbled the ball as the final seconds of a 119-112 Memphis Grizzlie’s victory over Phoenix Suns wounded. Right in front of him was Sun’s Fremad Kevin Durant.

It’s no secret that Morant has been a fan of Durant’s game. He has openly talked about his admiration for the Suns star. Before Morant got his own signature shoe, he often wore Durant’s Nike Sneakers.

Durant, 36, called it a measure of his to get respect from the younger generation of players as a morant.

“For yes to show me the respect, it means a lot to me,” Durant said. “He is a young player whom I admire since I was in college. I can see a few of these young players in the league reach out to that (30,000 points) milestone too.”
