How much snow should one expect timeline collapse

4warn weather – How much snow should we get? I’ve heard this question several times today. My answer is always the same: It depends on where you live.

Up in the thumb? You’re going to be patted by at least 6 to 7 inches. Down in Monroe? A few centimeters with a glaze of ice. If you live somewhere in between, look at this card.

Snow total forecast.

Winter storm storming

Now let’s talk about the timing. Between 7 p.m. 13 and 17 will snow showers move in. From 1 p.m. 17 to 23, snow continues to intensify and accumulate, creating smooth road conditions. The heaviest snow in many areas will occur, while most of you sleep, between 7 p.m. 23 and at.

There will still be some snow showers during the morning commuting Thursday from 1 p.m. 3 to 9. Later in the morning on Thursday, the snow will end with only a few flurries back.

A winter weather counseling will take effect from 1 p.m. 13 Wednesday to 7 Thursday for the western and southern counties, with 3-5 inches of snow expected, causing smooth roads and difficult journeys.

There may also be a glaze of ice cream for Lenawee, Monroe and parts of Wayne County, which could reduce the snow plains a bit. The best chance of the winter mix will be between 7 p.m. 19 and 3.

Livingston, Oakland and Macomb counties will experience a mainly all-song event with higher 5-7 inches.

Snowfall speeds of 0.75 inches per hour will be possible Wednesday night, causing a significant reduction in visibility and dangerous driving conditions.

Currently, these counties and those are up in the thumb during a winter storm that is likely to be upgraded to a warning or advice later tonight or tomorrow morning.
