Changes to Wednesday School Plans when snow falls over Maryland

(Wbff) – With snow coming down in Maryland, schools announce changes in their operating procedures until Wednesday, February 12.

The following schools are closed Wednesday:

  • Baltimore City Public Schools
  • Charles County Public Schools
  • Howard County Public Schools
  • Huber Child Development Center
  • Montgomery County Public Schools
  • Prince George’s County Public Schools
  • Queen Annes County Public Schools
  • St. Mary’s County Public Schools

These schools have not announced closures but will be delayed and/or operate practically:

  • Anne Arundel County Public Schools – Virtual Learning
  • Baltimore County Public Schools – 2 -Timers Delay, Virtual Learning
  • Carroll County Public Schools – 2 -Timers Delay
  • Garrison Forest School – Opening at. 10
  • Garrett County Public Schools – Virtual Learning
  • Gerstell Academy – 2 -Timers delay
  • Harford County Public Schools – 2 -Timers Delay
  • HARFORD DAY SCHOOL – 2 -TIMS DELINKING
  • Hope Academy – Virtual Learning
  • Irvine Nature Center – Opening at. 11
  • North Carroll Community School – 2 -Timers Delay
  • Talbot County Public Schools – Virtual Learning
  • Washington County Public Schools – 2 -Timers Delay
  • Wicomico County Public Schools – Virtual Learning

Colleges and universities with schedule changes include:

  • Bowie State University – Virtual Learning
  • Coppin State University – Opening at. 10 Essential employees must report as normally planned
  • Harford Community College – Opening at. 12
  • Howard Community College – closed
  • Maryland Institute College of Art (Mica) – Closed
  • Morgan State University – Opening at. 10
  • Salisbury University – 2 -hour delay. Offices open at. 10
  • Towson University – Opening at. 10
  • Towson University Northeast Campus (Tune) – Opening at. 12
  • University of Maryland, College Park – closed

Other schedule adjustments:

  • Aberdeen Proving Ground – Opening at. 11
  • Anne Arundel County Circuit Court – Closed
  • Anne Arundel County Public Libraries – Closed
  • Anne Arundel County Senior Activity Centers – Closed
  • Baltimore City Circuit Court – Closed
  • Baltimore City Government – 2 -Timers delay
  • Baltimore County Circuit Court – Closed
  • Baltimore County Public Library – Opening at. 11
  • Fort Meade – Closed, Liberal leave
  • Howard County Government – Opening at. 10, Liberal leaves the whole day
  • Maryland State Government – Liberal leave from 6-10, telecommunications workers and important employees as usually planned
  • Prince George’s County Government – Closed
