Chicago Weather: The biggest blizzard of the season is coming

This winter’s biggest blizzard is on the way today.

Fox 32 -Meteorologist Mike Caplan has the forecast and what to expect.

Several inches of snow

What to expect:

There will be some light snow in the area this morning, which may accumulate up to half an inch.

The heavier snow is reserved for afternoon and evening hours, which will make the prime minister much worse than this morning.

I still look at a widespread 3 to 6-inch event. Snow subsides during those overnight as low temperatures dip into teens after maximizing in the mid -20s this afternoon.

The rest of tomorrow has clearance of sky with temperatures going nowhere.

What is the next one:

On Friday for Valentine’s Day, temperatures will rise into the upper 20s after a very cold start in the individual digits.

Snow returns during the afternoon and evening, which can complicate the journey when people go out for dinner. Snow continues with spaces through Saturday.

The early intake of accumulations would be close to what we end up with today.

After Saturday’s snowfall, bitter cold temperatures arrive with heights next week holding in teens with low who may get below zero away from the city in many communities.
