Watch Live -Report from News 9 Storm Trackers

Freezing conditions and winter rainfall affect roads on Wednesday morning over Oklahoma.

In Yukon, News 9 Storm Tracker Hank Brown said that even highways and intermediate states in central Oklahoma are dangerous to drive on.

“I-40 right now is shaping … I hate saying it, but we could see a pile. If someone hits their brakes and loses control, no one will be able to stop.” Said Brown. “I-40 from the Yukon-El Reno area entering the subway is absolutely dangerous.”

In Oklahoma City, News 9 Storm Tracker Brandon Pennel said that the southern parts of the subway near Norman and Moore are less dangerous, but still worse than usual.

“You can see on roads, it goes from what was water, it just continues to stack up and become a thin ice sheet,” Pennel said.
