Kilauea -Outbreak resumes with Lava -Spring Water within North wait

Honolulu (Hawaiinewsnow) – an outbreak on top of Kilauea resumed Tuesday morning.

Section 9 of the outbreak of Halemaumau -crater began at. 10:16

Lava jumps inside the northern ventilation, reaches heights of approx. 330 feet, and feed lava streams on the crater floor of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

Each fountain episode of this outbreak has lasted a few hours to over a week.

Current dangers include volcanic gas emissions and wind -blown volcanic glass (Pele’s hair) that could affect Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and nearby communities.
