Ohio State Football Refined to Interview Interesting Defensive Coordinator Candidate

Ohio State Football continues with its search for its next defensive coordinator, and an extremely interesting name emerges. Matt Patricia is best remembered for her head coaching period with Detroit Lions by the NFL but natives in New York have one of the most impressive resumes that include being a defensive assistant for Philadelphia Eagles as well as several stops with New England Patriots During their dominance.

If Buckeyes Should land Patricia, I’m sure social media would be on fire with negative comments due to his 12-39-1 record as head coach in the NFL, but any college would be lucky to have any of his pedigree by the helm of its defense. A Bill Belichick -Discipel, Patricia was an integral part of the three Super Bowls won by New England.

Fans have waited eagerly for the message of the next defensive coordinator after Jim Knowles traveled to the same position on Penn State And even these rumors are true, OSU may be looking at a possible upgrade. Ryan Day already announced Brian Hartline and Keenan Bailey as his offensive and co-offensive coordinators, and most expected a similar situation in defense with Tim Walton and Matt Guerrieri, but maybe these were premature.
