The Hoddle of Coffee: Tottenham Hotspur News and Links for Tuesday 11 February

Welcome to another edition of Trending Up / Trending Down, where the Hoddle Headquarters are looking at what about Spurs is trending and what trends down.

——-

I always find it good practice to launch another edition of Trends up / trending down After a loss. Adds a bit of bypass to the entire Mess of Tottenham Hotspur.

But it is becoming more difficult to find out who – or exactly what – is in trending right now. Teenagers – Lucas Bergval and Archie Gray – were shown in one of the newer choices. Who does that leave me with? I can only think of one.

Trends up

Djed Spence: A rare bright spot in these days and he makes himself unprotected. Jack PB ($$) Wrote this story about Spence a month ago about how he makes the case to become part of Spurs’ long -term plans. A remarkable turn for a player who was more or less exiled by Antonio Conte.

Trending down

Ange Postecoglou: All the players seem to support Postecoglou, which is great for his job security. Less large? The run of games that extends over the past two months now. When you are jumped out of two competitions and are the bottom table in the league, so yes, you will end up here.

Cup competitions: Spurs participated last week in four cup competitions. They ended the week with this number in half. Now it’s just Europe and Premier League (but one only by default).
