UNLV mourns over the loss of football student-athlete Ben Christman

Las Vegas (Unlvrebels.com) – With great sadness, UNLV can confirm the death of Ben ChristmanAn UNLV student athlete and member of the football program.

Ben, a recent transfer to the university, was found the deceased in an apartment outside campus on Tuesday morning. His family has been notified and the athletic department has informed the team. Mental health and related support services are offered to those in need.

We have no further details at this time. The cause of death is released by Clark County Coroner’s Office at a later date.

“I was incredibly sorry to learn about the early departure of Ben Christman. There is little that can be said to reduce the pain by suddenly losing a member of our university family at such a young age, and my heart breaks to anyone who knew and loved him.
