Feyenoord’s UniDeal preparation: ‘I don’t know the team’

Brian Priske was fired as Feyenoord chief in the construction of tonight’s decisive UEFA Champions League slips, which put an end to his reign after he took over from Arne Castle in the summer.

Subsequent Eredivisie leaders Ajax with 12 points, and out of the domestic cup, the Feyenoord hierarchy pulled the plug on the Proge’s short mandate previously led the youth setup.

In a speech at his first press conference on Tuesday, Bosschaart said: “It’s been very hectic.

“I had already prepared the training for Feyenoord during the 21s on Monday night when I got a late call and asked if I could get to the stadium. From there it went fast, I had to change quickly.

“The preparation had already started, so I sat down to see where we could still achieve gains and how we could approach it. We need to implement the plan that was there. I won’t change everything at the last minute. If You do what you create additional unrest and don’t want it.

“I don’t know the team at all, but I’ve come across a group of players who are eager. We trained well, it was focused, there was a lot of fun in it.”
