Salem area is preparing for the incoming winter storm

Salem, Ore. (Katu) – A winter storm is expected to hit much of Oregon on Thursdaythat brings rain, snow and potentially icy conditions.

According to Storm Tracker 2 meteorologist Rhonda Shelby, the storm will probably start in the Salem area around 10 pm. 7 or 8, it is expected to travel south to the north, which means that it will more than likely affect the Salem area first before moving up to Portland.
