Lakers criticized by NBA fans with LeBron James, Luka not enough in loss to jazz

The new look Los Angeles Lakers started a fantastic start earlier this week with a dominant victory over Utah Jazz.

Los Angeles squared against jazz again on Wednesday, and things went very differently.

Luka Dončić, LeBron James and Lakers were no match for the fighting jazz when Los Angeles lost 131-119. Dončić, who returned to court on Monday after missing more than a month of action, is still shaking the rust as he had only 16 points, four assists and four rebounds while turning the ball over five times.

James ended with 18 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

It didn’t help Lakers’ case that they lost one of their only big men early in the game. Jaxson Hayes played only seven minutes before he went out with one Face Contusion. Los Angeles’ newly signed center Alex Len had four points and seven rebounds in his debut.

After the loss to the reconstruction group, fans criticized Dončić and James for their matches.

While a loss in the second game in Dončić and James Era is not a good sign, it is certainly not the end of the world. Lakers are still in fifth place in the western conference of 32-20 and appears to be on its way to an autumn year.

Still, fans need to see more from Dončić and Lake Show to declare them championship developers.
