TNT Tonight revealed semi-final matchups and team names for 2025 NBA All-Star Game:

The semi -final winners move on to meet in the championship. For all three matches in the Mini Tournament, the first team wins 40 points.

The 74th NBA All-Star game will take place on Sunday 16 February at 1 p.m. 20 one at Tnt.

New All-Star game format

2025 NBA All-Star Game Format Explained

For the first time, the NBA All-Star Game will include a Mini Tournament with four teams and three matches. Two teams meet in a semi -final (game 1) and the remaining two teams meet in the second semi -final (Game 2). The winning teams from Game 1 and Game 2 will move on to each other in the championship (Game 3). For each game, the winner will be the first team that reaches or exceeds 40 points.

Each team has eight players and is named for a TNT NBA analyst. The 24 NBA All-Star elections will be divided evenly into three teams, with the guards prepared by TNT’s inside the NBA commentators and the honorary team’s general leaders Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith. The three analysts made the respective choices to Team Chuck, Team Shaq and Team Kenny Live at TNT in NBA All-Star Draft.

The fourth team will be the winning team from the Castrol Rising Stars championship, the annual showcase for the top first and second year’s NBA players and NBA G League standouts, played on February 14 under NBA All-Star 2025. And WNBA legend Candace Parker will act as honorary GM for Rising Stars Champion, known as Team Candace.

The five players who are honored as starters in each conference are selected by fans (50%of the votes), current NBA players (25%) and a media panel (25%). The seven players who are honored as reserves in each conference are selected by the NBA head trainer.

The four teams participating in the NBA All-Star game are competing for a prize pool of $ 1.8 million. Each player on the championship -winning team receives $ 125,000, each player in the other place team receives $ 50,000, and each player in third place and fourth place will receive $ 25,000.
