The 12th Ranked Texas Tech basketball team survived a big scare from Arizona State on Wednesday night and held on with a 111-106 victory in double overtime in United Supermarkets Arena.

The Red Raiders (19-5, 10-3) overcome 13 3-Pointers from Arizona State in regulation and had just enough juice in the other extra session to pull off the victory.

JT Toppin established a new career mound with 41 points to go with 15 rebounds. Darrion Williams added 27 points and five rebounds for the Red Raiders.

Adam Miller had 22 points and BJ Freeman 21 for Arizona State.
