EF-1 Tornado leaves 3 wounded, buildings damaged along Florida Panhandle

Pensacola, Fla. And More buildings suffered damage as an EF-1-Tornado swept through a quarter near Pensacola, Florida on Tuesday night.

The storm rolled into Escambia County around 2 p.m. 16.30, which caused considerable roof damage to a large building, overturning power lines, leaving a trace of waste in the wake.

Escambia County officials told Fox Weather that three people suffered from the storm, with two led to a local hospital, but the extent of their injuries was not given. The third person did not need hospitalization.

National Weather Service Office in mobile, Alabama sent a storm examination team to the area on Wednesday morning and confirmed the damage was caused by a tornado.

According to the study team, the tornado had maximum settlement up to 95 km / h and lasted about half a mile. The tornado first touched south of Copter Road and pushed and overturned. Twister then moved northeast into an industrial complex, which caused significant damage to roofing.

Severe weather is still a threat through Wednesday in the south with Noaa’s Storm Prediction Center, which gives a level 2 out of 5 risk of severe weather.
