Warriors cannot end comeback in Tab vs. Kyrie Irving, Mavs

After two straight wins, the new look Golden State Warriors seemed to win speed with the all-star break threatening. However, a floppy against the short -haired Dallas Mavericks Stopped the Golden State’s race and cracked their two-game victory.

Despite the lack of Anthony Davis, Daniel Gafford, PJ Washington and Dereck Lively, Warriors had no answer to Kyrie Irving. Irving fired against Warriors and scored a game high 42 points on 15-of-25-shooting from the floor with seven made 3-pointers to go with seven rebounds in 40 minutes.

While Irving helped carry the Mavericks violation, his main game in the evening could have been on the defensive side of the floor. With Warriors who pulled with two points with only 17 seconds left on the clock, Irving withdrew a fee from a driving Jimmy Butler to remove the Golden State’s chances of tying the game. After the indictment, Max Christie buried to free kicks for ice cream playing for Mavericks, 111-107.

Steph Curry and Butler each warmed up again in the fourth quarter and scored 11 points each. Still, it was too late to end the comeback against the short -haired mavericks.

Curry spoke a team high 25 points on 9-of-23 shooting from the field with four made 3-Pointers with eight assists and five rebounds in 37 minutes. Butler continued his impressive start with Warriors and scored 21 points on 8-of-17 shooting from the field with nine rebounds and seven assists in 35 minutes.

Before the All-Star break begins on Friday, Warriors will have a quick turn on Thursday to the second stage of a back-to-back against Houston Rockets. If Warriors can secure a win, they go into the All-Star Break One game over .500.
