The rock band that flogging Molly has been forced to cancel all their 2025 appearances as their main vocalist suffers from a ‘serious health’.

The band, best known for their hit songs, if I ever leave this world alive, drunk lullaby and devis dance floor, revealed on social media that their leaders’ health had worsened.

The statement did not reveal lead singer Dave King’s exact health and instead asked for ‘prayers’ and ‘privacy’ at this time.

‘To our family, friends and fans,’ the statement began. ‘Our fearless leader, the incomparable Dave King, is currently struggling with a very serious state of health.

‘Dave and Bridget ask everyone to respect their privacy at this time we want to share as we can. Any good thoughts or prayers, you can send Daves’s way, he and we will appreciate it.

‘Unfortunately, Flogging Molly will not be able to perform shows in 2025.

‘With the salt dog cruise 12 days away, the boat sails as planned with 18 bands and members of Flogging Molly on board to celebrate the cruise, society and our captain, Dave King. Thanks, flogging Molly. ‘

Flogging Molly was set to tour in Europe and America with dates in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Orlando in their way to rebel tour, which must now be re -planned.

The seven-member band was first formed in LA in 1994. Dave King was the basic member of the band and brought the other six members together-inclusive his wife.

King is married to the band’s violin player Bridget Regan. The couple met in 1993 and were some of the original members of the rock band with a Celtic influence.
