School endings, delays in Massachusetts to Thursday 13 February

With snow that is expected to fall into parts of Massachusetts on Wednesday night – deliver as much as 3 inches before they turned into a winter mix and rain on Thursday – some schools have already delayed the opening, and some have even decided to close.

An advice on winter weather, which covers the entire western, central and part of the eastern Massachusetts, comes into force at 1 p.m. 22 Wednesday and will be in effect until 7 p.m. 10 Thursday.

At midnight Thursday, forecasters expect a 100% snow in Boston, Gloucester and Lowell, while there is a 100% chance of a winter mix in Worcester and Springfield, according to a Posts of the Weather Service on X.
