Lainy Wilson is engaged with Devlin ‘Duck’ Hodges after dreamy suggestions, Diamond Ring shows

Congratulations are in order of Lainy Wilson When she revealed she is engaged with Devlin “Duck” hodges! The feeling of national music announced her commitment In an Instagram post on Wednesday, February 12th.

She captioned on the post, “4x4xu forever,” with a red heart -emoji.

The post that was shown Photos By “Heart Like A Truck” singer and her Beau embraced after giving her a fantastic diamond ring while standing in front of a beautiful house. Duck, 28, set up candles, rose petals and photos of the pair before coming down on one knee. Lainy, 32, showed his bling on other photos cracked after the proposal. Lainy also included a video of her that went down the stairs and playfully flashed her ring at the end before laughing and running out of the frame.

The comment section of the post flooded with love for the newly committed couple! Grand Ole Opry’s official Instagram -page wrote: “Congratulations !! We have our best bell bottom ready!”

The news came right after Lainy talked about potentially getting engaged while chatting with Jelly Roll‘s wife, Bunnie Xofor cmt.

“No pressure, brother! No pressure,” Lainy said. “I might have to suggest him. We’re waiting!”

“No, duck to do it. I could feel it,” said Bunnie, 44.

“I like it,” Lainy replied.

Lainy and Duck began dating in 2021, but they did not publicly reveal their relationship until two years later when she brought him to the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards.

“I said, ‘We’ll see if you’re in that for the right reasons.’ It turns out he is, ” Yellowstone Actress told People In June 2023 of her romance with the former NFL player. “Someone said how fun it was to see him high-five all my artist friends at ACMS, and I said, ‘It’s his friends!'”

In the same interview, Lainy praised Duck for being “one of my biggest cheerleaders and masters” and said they had a “healthy relationship.”

“I was never really able to write love songs because I don’t know if I had actually felt it, but I am writing some love songs now,” she geared. “I’m grateful to him.”

Last summer, Lainy opened up his relationship with the athlete in an August 2024 interview with Zane Lowe to Apple Music.

“I finally found a guy who gives me a race for my money,” she said. “And he’s my biggest cheerleader. He’s just a good person. And he knows how important hunting for a dream is because even when he was a little boy, football was his life.”

When the couple first met, Duck played for Pittsburgh Steelers. She said their relationship has been a “Virvevind” ever since, but they make it work.

“I mean it’s not normal,” Lainy said. “We don’t get to see each other as often as some couples do, but we also know it’s has a very special one.”
