Nationwide remembering canned tuna, chicken and more

From pantry staples to frozen favorites, there are quite a few recalls right now that more consumers need to know about. These products were sold at popular retailers like Costco, Trader Joe’s, Walmart, Wegmans and more, why you should check your kitchen for these recalled things as soon as possible. Here’s what to know.

Breadcrumbs

Over £ 16,000 bread crumbs were recalled nationwide according to a recent Food & Drug Administration (FDA) message. This is because the recalled products can contain sesame, which is a non -declared allergen on the packaging.

The breadcrumbs that were affected by this recall were two varieties of the La Fiesta -labeled bread crumbs: unshasted and spicy. The recalled breadcrumbs were sold from April 10, 2024 to January 22, 2025, so they could be in consumers’ pantries.

Sesame is a common allergen, so the allergic to sesame can unconsciously consume this product, causing a reaction as severe as anaphylaxis. Signs of anaphylactic shock include hives, swelling, trouble breathing, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dizziness, tightness of the throat and cardiac arrest. Call 911 immediately if you show symptoms of severe allergic reaction.

Hermetic tuna

Most recently announced, there is a large recall on several brands of canned tuna sold in popular grocery stores in the United States, according to the FDA. This is due to cans that pose a risk to botulism.

The can of tuna affected included brands such as Genoa, Heb, Trader Joe’s and Van Camp’s. They were sold in grocery chains such as Costco, Kroger, Publix, Trader Joe’s and Walmart, among others. See the full recall for specific product information.

These cans of tuna are remembered due to a manufacturing error that can compromise the sealing of the products. A loose or broken seal may allow bacteria such as Clostridium botulinum To come in and grow inside the can, which can lead to food -borne disease. If you experience signs of botulism such as bloating, constipation, muscle weakness, dizziness or difficulty breathing after consuming one of the recalled tuna products, talk to your healthcare provider immediately.

Frozen chicken nuggets

Wegmans announced a recall on their big fire Fully cooked breaded chicken breast with ribs of meat nuggets. This follows several consumer complaints reported that they found bone in the product.

The recalled 46-ounce bags with Nuggets have a printed best date on August 26, 2025 and an establishment number of “P-33944”, which you can find inside the USDA marking of inspection. The products were sold at Wegman’s Food Markets in the following states and city: Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Washington, DC

If you have this revoked product available, dispose of it or return it to your local Wegmans for a refund. Contact your doctor if you experience any injury or illness after eating the revoked nuggets.

Milk

Check your refrigerator or pantry: Over 230,000 mini cartons with milk have been remembered. The horizon Aseptic Plain Helmilk was sold in 12 counting boxes with 8-ounce cartons in three states: Arizona, California and Nevada. CVS was one of the retailers who sold this remembered product.

The milk has a printed UPC on “3663207113” on 12-carton cases and “3663207127” on individual cartons. The recall was announced after a packaging error was found that can cause the product to spoil earlier than the brand. If you experience any illness after drinking the affected milk, call your healthcare provider.

Sausage

There is an active recall of approximately 17,720 pounds of sausage compound products, according to the Food Safety and Inspection Service of the US Agricultural Ministry. This is due to a pollution of foreign case.

DJ’s Boudain brand sausage products that are remembered include sale of date March 9, 2025, Establishment number “Est. 13246 ”on their packaging and was sold in three states: Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas. The product was sold in 12 ounces, 16 ounces and 24 ounces of packages, and this recall also affects their 12-ounce DJ’s Jalapeno Boudain-black.

The sausage compounds are revoked after a consumer reported having found “a piece of a pen while ate the original Boudain sausage -link product,” according to the report. This caused an oral injury. Eating this recalled product can result in illness or injury, so throw away any sausage that matches the above information or return it to your place of purchase.
