South Bend School Board to vote on the placement of superintendent on leave

South Bend, Ind. (WNDU) – South Bend Community School Corporation Board has convened a public public meeting later this week to vote on the placement of Superintendent Dr. Todd Cummings in administrative leave.

According to our reporting partners at South Bend TribuneA source with the board says it will evaluate Cummings’ decision not to cancel the school last Thursday, February 6, as the road conditions were icy.

As you may remember, a student ended up in the hospital after falling on the sidewalk and broken his wrist. Board members also tell us that there were several bus-glide-offs and teacher calls that day.

Tribune says the meeting will take place on Friday at. 17:30 in Brown Administration Building (737 Beale Street).
