More school districts closed, power cuts reported as winter storms are approaching

Portland, Ore. (KPTV) – A winter storm moves into Oregon and Southwest Washington on Thursday and Friday.

Fox 12 Weather Team reports that a cold aircraft mass will move across the region on Thursday morning to Friday morning. Snow is expected to start in the metro area sometime between 7 p.m. 8-10

Dozens of school districts in the area have already announced that they will be closed on Thursday, including Portland Public Schools, Beaverton School District, Vancouver Public Schools and Salem-Keizer Public Schools. A complete list can be found here.
